Audiobooky is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our audiobook player application.

Information We Collect

• Library Data: Audiobook metadata, playback progress, bookmarks (stored locally on your device)
• Usage Data: App performance and crash reports (anonymized)
• Device Info: Device type, OS version (for compatibility)

How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain the Audiobooky service
• Improve app performance and fix bugs
• Send important service updates (if you opt in)

Data Storage & Security

Your audiobook library stays on the personal media servers you configure (Audiobookshelf, Plex, Jellyfin); Audiobooky does not copy it to our servers. Optional account and sync features (used for the Friends/Listen Together feature) are stored on our own servers (PostgreSQL) and protected in transit with TLS. We use Google Firebase only for anonymous analytics and crash reporting, which you can turn off at any time in the app's Settings. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings.

Third-Party Services

Audiobooky connects to third-party audiobook servers (Audiobookshelf, Plex, Jellyfin) that you configure. We do not control these services and recommend reviewing their privacy policies.
